Non-Classical Logic. Theory and Applications

Ninth edition, September 24–27, 2018; Toruń, Poland

The Conference is organized by Department of Logic at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. This is the ninth conference on this topic. It will have a subtitle “The origins of philosophical logic: 70 years of Jaśkowski's and Łoś's contributions”. We will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of a journal Logic and Logical Philosophy published by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and Edited by the Department of Logic.

The first, second, fourth, sixth and eighth editions of the Conference were organized by Departament of Logic and Methodology at Łódź University. The third and fifth editions were organized by Department of Logic at NCU in Toruń. The thematic range of the conference remains the same: theories of nonclassical logics (modal, many-valued, temporal, paraconsistent, epistemic, deontic, substructural, and nonmonotonic logic) and their applications in computer science, artificial intelligence, formal linguistics, cognitive studies, as well as to the deeper analysis of traditional philosophical problems.
